Art Camp for kids
MDCA offers a 1 week SPRING Camp, a 9 week SUMMER Camp series, and two, 2 day WINTER Camp sessions. Classes are age integrated 6-12 years old and the instructor tailors the projects to adapt to each student’s level of art experience.

Exploring Watercolor
Starts Feb 9. This is a Six Week Class.
Mondays from 1 PM to 3:30 PM.
Feb 9, 16, 23, and Mar 9, 16 and 23. No class on March 2.

Basic Watercolor

This basic watercolor painting class is open to all skill levels. Learn foundational techniques while exploring color, brushwork, and composition at your own pace, with guidance tailored to beginners and more experienced painters alike.

Pastel

The Pastel medium is color luscious and soft to the touch. When applied to a support it is powerfully responsive under the guidance of the beginner to advanced artist’s hand. This class will explore the various techniques and processes with a view to completing a finished work.

From the outset, Oil painting is to encounter a fluid brilliant medium of color applied to a canvas. Come and explore this century old means of expressing yourself. There will be demonstrations of a variety of techniques and time to allowed for you to explore them , along with many opportunities for dialogue with the instructor.

Glass-Fused Glass Project
CHOOSE YOUR PROJECT. Thurs March 26 5:00-7:00PM Pick one: fused glass coral bowl, plant stakes or hanging birdbath

Looking for space to be creative? We have the room for you Mon -Fri 9am-4pm
This is an open studio area with no instruction. Tables for crafting and easels are available for use. Space is shared with other artists. Bring your own materials.
$20 per day 9am-4pm / $50 per week (M-F 9am-4pm) / $150 per month
